09 Jun Oahu: Off The Beaten Path
This is my second time in Oahu Hawaii and I have to say I was being a very typical tourist on my 1st travel to Honolulu. But then don’t let the touristy Waikiki turn you off, yet many beautiful off beaten places to be discovered. On my 2nd travel this time we have managed to find the perfect spot for watching sunset on the west side of the island – Yokohama Bay which is completely picturesque and serene. It’s like you were disconnected from rest of the world – sitting right there, doing nothing but enjoying the sound of music from the waves, made me feel better than having meditation. Surrounded by beautiful landscape and scenery changed every minute as the golden hour started. Just can’t hold any longer to share these postcards to you while I’m still being a bit jet legged. It’s about 1 hour drive from Waikiki but you can stop at other nice beaches along the west including the Pokai Beach and Maikaha Beach.
