01 Sep Dainty+Sparkly

Did I say I love love love the new T series from Tiffany & co ? I can literally have every single piece but my favourite one is their rose gold wire bracelet. I would desperately need to save up for getting these gorgeous investment pieces.

On my regular day, I would wear costume jewelry that are very affordable but yet still adding some sparkles to my work & weekend outfits.

Top – Triangle charm necklace from Forever 21 $1.80 (similar style). Yup, you won’t believe it’s less than $2 and I like to layer with my other gold necklaces like the one from Gorjana below.

Middle – Decadence crystal necklaces from J.Crew – $75 (on sale $27). I rotate wearing statement necklaces from time to time and these are the ones I wear at least 2 times a week now. It just adds the right amount of sparkles to a simple blouse or t shirt.

Lower – Mika Lariat necklace from Gorjana – $75 (sold out but similar styles with 25% off). I would mostly wear gold plated or real gold necklaces because they look much daintier and not worry about discolouring after few wears. 18K gold plated, extremely versatile and goes with everything.

Bottom – Heart of Gold bangle from Kate Spade – $36. Great quality with 14K gold plated and timeless design. No matter if you stack with other bracelets or just wear it on its own, it will go nicely with whatever. Idiom engraving is a very cute touch as well. Even my fashionista Mom can’t believe I can get this in less than $30 (I got it when it was on sale).

And you know what, you may be surprised that your Mom keeps some super dainty and timeless gold chain necklaces in her closet. I borrow a few from my Mom and they look so great as if like nothing comparable to what I can get from retail nowadays in terms of quality. And this may create a good collection of investment pieces already without splurging on luxury brands.
