16 Oct Favourites in Vancouver
One day I have decided to pick up my iPhone and shot this video to show some real lifestyle scenes in Vancouver without additional filter and equipment. And of course to recap some of our favourite spots and neighbourhoods in the city.
I’m not the judge nor expert to tell if they are the best or top 5 things you have to do in Vancouver, but for sure these are the places that I find cozy, comfortable and often return from time to time.
Some of my favourite neighbourhoods
Point Grey – It’s more than just a neighbourhood where multi-million homes are located. Hidden and secluded area to have a lovely view of Vancouver by the water and also it’s a nice area to go for leisure biking and jogging.
Granville Island – Besides the famous public market for local produce and groceries, you will also find many local shops, breweries and quiet spots to enjoy the peaceful scenery of Vancouver.
Armoury district– Located right next to Granville Island and home to contemporary designer furnishings, galleries and cafes.
Mount Pleasant and Strathconca – It’s where the local brewing companies, unique boutiques and public art start booming.
Some of my favourite spots
Nourish cafe and cooking school
Matchstick cafe in Riley Park
Beaucoup bakery and cafe
Oak + Fort
Orling & Wu
33 acres brewing company
Bows + Arrows coffee roasters
Kissa Tanto Italian Japanese cuisine
Please leave me a comment if you have been to any of those places mentioned above and also let me know what do you think about my first video shot completely on iPhone. Thanks for watching!
