Skirt – Zara

Shoes –  Jimmy Choo for H&M (old)

I might not have a model figure to pull off some nice pieces but I do enjoy to find pieces that look corporate appropriate yet chic. Dressing for real people (like me) can still be fun. Don’t get discouraged when you see models on magazines and thought you will never look this great.  Take me as an example, it’s very difficult for me to find a skirt/dress that looks flattering with my muscular calves. For so many times I have avoided to wear skirts and dresses as I would feel embarrassed to show my legs. This faux leather skirt from Zara has the right length, flow, material and colour that I couldn’t pass on. It’s not real leather, but the material feels very soft and flows as you walk. And of course it covers most of my athletic legs which is a huge bonus to me! To achieve a more relaxed look, I choose to go with chunky knitwear but it will go nicely with blouse for a more dressy look also. I have belted the sweater to resonate the asymmetrical cut of the skirt, adds more interest to the overall look. Cut-out booties are still hot this season and I dig out my old Jimmy Choo for H&M to pair with this outfit. Hey…surprisingly still looking quite decent and trendy.
