30 Nov Max Mara | Camel Coat

I have a soft spot for winter coats and they are one of the few fashion items I’m willing to make a splurge.  I believe well made coats or jackets can sustain for many seasons in the wardrobe. My heart goes to Max Mara…they make the best camel coats in my humble opinion.  The touch of the fabric and the cutting are just superb!  I understand many of you may assume all Max Mara coats are at least $5000 but actually they have different lines with a variety of camel coats at different price range. A classic “Made in Italy” 100% virgin wool coat from Max Mara Studio starts at $1000 but trust me they worth every single penny. The coat I am wearing has a modern twist to the traditional wrap coat, it’s slightly oversized just like a boyfriend jacket. I love the cut is a bit boxy with enough room to wear layers underneath, but it still drapes on my shoulders perfectly. It is an investment piece for sure but I’m sure it would get to be worn for many many times and cost per wear might be low enough to justify the purchase. I have purchased mine via Matchesfashion. Package has shipped to my door in 2 days and it’s wrapped beautifully.  Unfortunately mine has already sold out on the site. Friendly reminder that their classic styles and sizes are running out very quickly even at retail price!!! Grab it soon if you spot the style you like. I have listed a few other options that you may consider. Let me know what are your best purchases for this winter season in the comment section below too!
