I’m going to dedicate this post to our lovely new home. I’m not sure if the house is lovely just yet (it’s 30+ years old and the previous owner didn’t take very good care of it), but for sure we both think the view it has never gets old.

Many of our friends thought we are crazy, we have moved 3 times since we got married 6 years ago. Well you might not think it’s that many times, but I’m talking about we were tearing down old timers and building from scratch for 3 times. Of course you can imagine there were so much hassle and challenges we have been through but then we also learned so much from building and design experiences throughout the years.

My husband Will also had a chance to find a new switch to his career and start a design and building firm. I’m so proud of him!  I didn’t really spend time to blog about our old places that have been sold previously. I really hope this time I have the persistence to document since the beginning.

So what’s the status now? Not much progress really. The house is still a mess because we were away for a 3 weeks vacation right after we settled in. One thing that has been confirmed (kind of) is we are thinking to demolish the main and upper floor and rebuild up back. It’s now turning into a way bigger project that we originally planned. It’s going to be challenging but I’m still looking forward to it. Wish us luck!

Make sure you check for asbestos before renovation. If you need any testing done, we can help.
